SYMBOLS THAT REPRESENT CANADA:)

Canada is a well-known country with many symbols to represent it, but only a few symbols well-represent it. I believe the totem pole, the maple leaf and the multicultural/gay rights symbol best represent Canada. Canada is a country unlike others; we respect and treat each other equally. We do not hesitate to help and welcome others. Canada is a nation that is both loving and caring, as we treat homosexuals, transgenders, heterosexuals and people of all races alike.

The totem pole is a symbol that represents Canada as it is an “artwork” created by the natives (first inhabitants of Canada). Each totem pole has a meaning and tells either a real or mythical story from past generations. We can find totem poles along the west coast of Vancouver BC. Another symbol that well depicts Canada is the maple leaf. I believe the maple leaf well represents our nation because it is on the Canadian flag and the leaf can be seen all over the country.

The Last symbol which I believe should signify Canada, is the multicultural/gay rights sign.I think this because I believe Canada is a very multicultural country and we respect the thoughts/feeling of everyone. We do not criticize anyone of the way they behave or act as longs as it does not harm anyone. We respect people of all races and this is why I believe the symbols I stated above best represent Canada.
